INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT), a state-owned construction company listed as Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), is expected to develop only toll roads along 1,100 kilometers (km) this year.

"Previously, we estimate the toll road section that can be developed this year along the 1315 km. But about 200 km away can not be done because it hampered the land acquisition, "said Haris Gunawan, Finance Director of WSKT, in Jakarta, recently.

Therefore, according to Haris, WSKT management will conduct a thorough business review of the 200 km toll road plan. The 200 km toll road is located in Java and Sumatra.

"The study is planned to be conducted by an independent consultant in order to obtain a comprehensive review," said Haris.

Haris also said, for the completion of the construction of these toll road sections, the company has a loan facility of up to Rp70 trillion. As for Rp40 trillion of which have been realized to finance the construction of toll roads until now.

"Earlier this June, we just signed a loan facility from Bank Mandiri Syariah worth Rp2 trillion. The loan is planned to be used to finance working capital. In addition, we will also withdraw funds from the turkey project worth Rp19, 5 trillion which will mature this year, "said Harris. (Abraham Sihombing)
