Give Understanding About Fintech, AFTECH Holds Indonesia Fintech Fair 2018

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Indonesian people still need a deeper understanding of the existence, products, and benefits of financial technology (financial technology / fintech) that can be used everyday.

Based on these conditions, the Fintech Indonesia Association (AFTECH) will hold the Indonesia Fintech Fair 2018 event at Mall Taman Anggrek, Jakarta on 13-15 July 2018.

"We want to introduce at the same time provide education about fintech products to the community in accordance with the needs of each consumer. AFTECH also wants to make sure the organizers run their business responsibly, "said Ajisatria Suleiman, Director of the Association of Fintech Indonesia through a press release received INDUSTRY.co.id, Monday (9/7/2018).

In addition, Indonesia Fintech Fair 2018 is expected to introduce new services that can transform people's lives. The implementation of Indonesia Fintech Fair 2018 is in line with the rapid development of industry. For information, there are currently 135 fintech registered as AFTECH members since its inception in 2015.

A number of issues that will be the topic of discussion in this event also include aspects of consumer protection in the Indonesian financial services industry, which has been continuously pursued by the government and regulators.

The implementation of Indonesia Fintech Fair 2018 is in line with the target of 75 percent of Indonesian adults who can access finance (financial inclusion). Therefore, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) as the regulator in the financial industry and Bank Indonesia which oversees payment transactions also supports the holding of this event.

In Indonesia Fintech Fair 2018 there will be panel discussions with 6 different themes filled by fintech actors, government officials, regulators, financial institutions, and other digital actors and enlivened with the presence of 44 booth members AFTECH. A number of artists will enliven the entertainment event in Indonesia Fintech Fair 2018. In addition, there are many prizes and dorprize for the participants.

Separately, one of the founders of the Gradana property franchise, William Susilo, is looking forward to this Fintech Fair event. According to him, this event should be a regular activity every year for the community of financial technology companies in Indonesia.

"We must continue to educate the domestic market about this industry in order to avoid misunderstanding in our society." The presence of this fintech company is not a competitor for the bank, but instead it can synergize with the bank, "he said.
