INDUSTRY.co.id - Lampung, Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of Lampung Province (Pemprov) offer the establishment of International Acceleration Team Radin Inten II Airport to the Government of Lampung Province.
According to the Chairman of Lampung Province Chamber of Commerce, Muhammad Kadafi, this team is needed to break through the barriers of the status increase.

According to him, Kadin has a number of associations that can encourage acceleration of the status increase. In Kadin join a number of associations related to transportation companies such as tourism, cargo transportation, and logistics that can recommend the internationalization of Radin Inten II Airport.
Kadafi who is also Rector of Malahayati University is convinced, increasing the status of Radin Inten II Airport will increase investment in Lampung.
"The investor countries are in the vicinity of Lampung, and this increase in connectivity will make Lampung an investor," Kadafi said.
In response to the proposal, Lampung Province Head of Transportation Qodratul Ikhwan said the role of employers' organizations such as Kadin, is needed to convince the center of the importance of the increase.
"Actually initially all agreed to increase this status with Kuala Namu Airport Medan, but the proposal of Radin Inten II Airport was postponed," he said.
According to Qodratul Ikhwan, Lion Group airline twice filed an international flight from Lampung, but it has not been realized yet. Lion targeting the number of pilgrims from Lampung berumrah to the Holy Land.
