Hutama Karya Soon to Start Pekanbaru-Padang Toll Road Throughout 254.80 Km

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- PT Hutama Karya (Persero) will begin the construction of the Pekanbaru-Padang toll road along 254.80 kilometers after the Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT) is officially signed.
"With the signing of this Toll Road Concession Agreement, we hope to accelerate the process of constructing Pekanbaru-Padang toll road which is targeted to be completed by 2025," said Director of Hutama Karya, Bintang Perbowo, through a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (18/7 / 2018)
The PPJT signing ceremony was held at the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing (PUPR) on Wednesday by President Director of PT Hutama Karya (Persero), Bintang Perbowo and witnessed by Herry Trisaputra Zuna as Head of Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT).
The signing of this PPJT was conducted in order to follow up the letter of the Minister of PUPERA to HK number JL.03.04-Mn / 913 dated July 11, 2018 concerning Stipulation of Toll Road Effort Plan Pekanbaru-Bangkinang-Payakumbuh-Bukittinggi-Padang Panjang-Lubuk Alung-Padang.
Through the signing of this PPJT, HK is expected to begin the construction of the toll road section which is part of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road. Development is targeted to be completed by 2025 on the assumption that land acquisition can be completed entirely by December 2021.
The Bintang detailing the Pekanbaru-Padang toll segment will consist of 1-2 Pekanbaru-Bangkinang section, 3-7 Bangkinang-Payakumbuh section, 8-12 Payakumbuh-Sicincin section and 13-14 Sicincin-Padang section.
The total investment invested by Hutama Karya for the Pekanbaru-Padang toll road construction is worth Rp80.41 trillion with Rp4.75 trillion for the Padang-Sicincin section and Rp75.65 trillion for Sicincin-Pekanbaru.
