INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) said Terminal 4 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is not designed for low cost carrier (LCC).
"While the design that we prepared that Terminal 4 is not in 'propose' (submitted) for the LCC special terminal," said Head of Corporate Secretary and Legal Angkasa Pura II Agus Haryadi at Ministry of Maritime Affairs Jakarta, Friday (20/1/12018)
Agus said the development plan of LCC terminal at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is still being reviewed.
According to him, LCC market share is quite potential to be worked especially at main airport such as Soekarno-Hatta.
Although still under review, he mentioned the greatest possibility of LCC terminal will be enforced at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
"Terminal D will be used for international, but it will move all to Terminal 3. Terminal 2 will be 'idle' (unused), so Terminal 2 will be developed," he explained. .
Previously, President Director Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin presented the concept of a special LCC terminal at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
Awaluddin after the opening of Airport Excellence (APEX) in Safety from the Airport Council International (ACI), Monday (16/7), explained if there is adjustment of LCC terminal construction at the time of revitalization, then the concept is Terminal 1 special cheap domestic cheap flights.
Terminal 2 special cheap domestic and international flight and Terminal 3 special flight with full service (full service) both domestic and international.
While Terminal 4 will be positioned to be a complete service flight terminal.
