The signing ceremony of the collaboration was preceded by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between PT Modern Industrial Estate represented by Pascall Wilson as Managing Director and Sung Gul Son as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Modern Bando Co Ltd. located at the headquarters of Modern Bando Co Ltd. in Busan, South Korea, Friday (8/24) yesterday.

Also attending were the procession of the signing of the agreement, the Directorate General of Resilience and Development of International Industrial Access of the Ministry of Industry, I Gusti Putu Suryawirawan and Secretary of the Directorate General of Resilience and Development of International Industrial Access of the Ministry of Industry, Ignatius Warsito.

In the same occasion, an open discussion forum and gala dinner were also attended by entrepreneurs and potential investors from Busan, South Korea. The attendees were mostly entrepreneurs from the shipping, logistics, food and beverage, steel and cosmetics sectors.

This cooperation also marked the visit of President Director of PT Modern Industrial Estate, Pascall Wilson to South Korea in order to seek investment opportunities from South Korean investors.

Pascall Wilson said, although the global economic conditions have not fully improved, South Korea's investment value to Indonesia this year is estimated to be still quite large. South Korea's investment this year is projected to remain the third largest in Indonesia.

The magnitude of South Korea's investment realization in Indonesia this year is expected to continue and grow along with investment in industrial value-added sectors. In addition, the investment that has been invested at this time is expected to continue to be expanded to help Indonesia increase export earnings. This opportunity was tried by PT Modern Industrial Estate.
