INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, January 31st 2022 - PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (“CLEO”), the first Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) producer in Indonesia to receive an ISO 22000: 2005 food safety management certificate with purified water differentiation and using environmentally friendly packaging, continues its business expansion by adding the construction of Bottle Water processing plants in several parts of Indonesia.

To support this, this year CLEO targets the construction of 3 bottled drinking water (AMDK) processing plants in several parts of Indonesia.

Melisa Patricia as Deputy President Director of CLEO said, “We are committed to adding AMDK processing plants to all regions of Indonesia. With the construction of 3 factories this year, our total AMDK processing plants will be 30 factories. We hope that the addition of this factory will increase the market share of CLEO products and can meet the demand and demand for bottled water which is still very high in the community”.

CLEO factory construction areas include Balikpapan, Palangkaraya, and Palembang. Currently, CLEO has 27 AMDK processing plants with distribution networks spread across several parts of Indonesia, including Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, and Papua with a total network of 200 internal distributors and 1.515 total external distributors.

As a company engaged in FMCG (Fast- Moving Consumer Goods), CLEO sees that the movement of AMDK consumption is very fast, because water is one of our daily needs and 60-70% of the human body contains water. so that water becomes very important for the human body and this is what makes the demand for drinking water increase.

Coupled with certain moments such as Christmas and Eid Al-Fitr where the demand for AMDK increases greatly. This also encourages CLEO to continue to add factories every year so that CLEO can continue to supply bottled water needs in the community.

“In the future CLEO will continue to do other expansions. We are optimistic that by adding factories, CLEO can improve its performance and can expand the market to all regions of Indonesia. It is expected that CLEO can continue to contribute and provide drinking water that can prosper the community.” concluded Melisa.
