50 Died, President Jokowi Condemns Las Vegas Terrorism Act

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Joko Widodo condemned the terrorist acts that took place in Las Vegas, United States, shooting amid the Route 91 Harvest music concert performed from 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay.
"We condemn such acts of terrorism, the shooting as happened in Las Vegas, with so many victims," said President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) after declaring a national action to eradicate illegal drugs and drug abuse held at Bumi Perkemahan and Graha Wisata Cibubur , East Jakarta, Tuesday (3/10/2017)
He said, on behalf of the Indonesian people expressed their deep condolences over the events that claimed the lives of dozens of dead and hundreds of others wounded.
President Jokowi has ensured that to date there are no Indonesian Citizens (WNI) who became victims in the tragedy.
"And we also express our deepest condolences and I have received reports that no Indonesian citizens are victims," he said.
President Jokowi believes the US Government will be able to handle the event well.
"I am sure the US Government remains strong and strong in facing such terrorism threats," he said.
At least 50 people were killed and more than 200 people injured in mass shootings at a concert Sunday evening (1/10) outside the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas in the US state of Nevada.
