Intiland Cooperates with Local Developers Implement the People's Housing Development Program

INDUSTRY.co.id - Pacitan - In order to support the Housing Million Program by government and to overcome the national housing backlog, property developer PT Intiland Development Tbk (Intiland) along with several property developers in the region started a community housing development program.
The implementation of this program is marked by the ground breaking of the construction of housing units with Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) in Puri Permata Indah, Pacitan, East Java, on Wednesday (10/1/2018)
The implementation of ground breaking is attended by representatives of each developer, contractor and other partners. Intiland was represented by Theresia Rustandi as Corporate Secretary of Intiland, Tomi Wistan and Oka Moerod as President Director and President Commissioner of PT Menara Tinggi Bertumbuh, and Yulianto Kusumo, Chairman of Komisariat REI Solo Raya 2011-2014 and Dadang Juhro as Movement of House Construction for Low-Income Communities.
Vice Chairman of Kadin Indonesia Property Sector Hendro S. Gondokusumo said, through partnership cooperation like this can build a synergy between national developers and regional developers. Kadin, as the parent of the organization, hopes that the partnership program can be an expandable model that can involve and cooperate with developers in Real Estate Indonesia (REI) and other property developers associations.
"Hopefully Partnership Cooperation program will grow and can involve national and other developers, so it can succeed the program of one million houses," said Hendro S. Gondokusumo who is also the President Director and Chief Executive Officer of PT Intiland Development Tbk.
The commencement of the construction of these housing units is a follow-up of Intiland and some regional developers' agreement in October 2017. This partnership program involves Intiland with three regional property developers namely PT Menara Tinggi Bertumbuh (MTB), PT Cipta Griya Sriwijaya (CGS) , and PT Multi Bangun Realtindo (MBR).
Meanwhile, President Director of MTB Tomi Wistan said, in this partnership cooperation will build new housing units in stage 2 housing Puri Permata Indah. In addition, it has also established a collaboration by inviting and empowering local entrepreneurs who have been
its business range is around the Pacitan region, covering Solo, Yogyakarta and East Java.
"We believe by establishing collaboration and cooperation with local entrepreneurs, then the development of this project will be successful. We see many potential local entrepreneurs and have excellent experience, resources, networking, and market recognition, "said Tomi.
One of the partners who will collaborate on this partnership project is PT Citra Kahuripan Utama, which is a building contractor company in the regent. The company also has a network of business marketing through the banner of Somerset Property.
President Director of PT Citra Kahuripan Utama, Anthony welcomed the opportunity to work together in this partnership program. This partnership cooperation scheme, he argues, can be a good example to develop in the future.
"This partnership project provides experience and knowledge for local entrepreneurs to learn and grow in the future," said Anthony.
The partnership program is designed with the aim of helping to improve the quality of life of the people in some parts of Indonesia. Each side has the same commitment and concern to provide a viable residential service delivery solution in the regions.
Puri Permata Indah is one of the four hectares residential areas developed by Intiland since 2007 by cooperating with local contractors. The Company has now completed the development of the first phase for three hectares of land.
MTB plans to build 118 units of houses with a selling price of 130 million per unit that obtains a housing financing liquidity facility (FLPP) on an area of one hectare. The location of this project is very strategic, located in high and flood-free area and only about five kilometers from downtown Pacitan.
The implementation of the partnership program with the regional developers is fully supported by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) in the property sector. This program is considered to be one of the national housing backlog solutions, as well as to accommodate the development of balanced residential set by the government.
