Sahid Group Take Over T-More Hotel Kupang

INDUSTRY.co.id - Kupang- Sahid Group Hotels and Resorts Management invested in Kupang City by taking over the management of the T-More Hotel into Sahid T-More Hotel to support the development of tourism in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
"Starting today, Sahid Group officially runs the hotels business in NTT by managing Sahid T-More Hotel, this investment is part of the management's commitment to support tourism in NTT," said Sahid Hotels and Resorts President Director Hariyadi Sukamdani to the media crew in Kupang, Friday (6/4/2018)
According to him, the tourism sector in the local area is growing rapidly and proved as one of the sector of revenue and economic growth boosters supported by the potential of nature tourism, maritime, and a very rich culture.
For this reason, he said, Sahid Hotels and Resorts is optimistic that through hospitality investment in Kupang City as the capital of this province can contribute positively to support the development of existing tourism.
Hariyadi said the hotel investment is the second business expansion of Sahid Group in addition to managing Capa Resort in Maumere, capital of Sikka Regency, Flores Island.
He said Sahid Group would utilize a network spread across 23 hotels throughout Indonesia to promote local tourism potentials to attract the arrival of guests from various regions.
From the management aspect, he continued, the management still prioritizes reliable service, carrying business concept with modern touch but still maintaining local culture.
"A number of aspects of our local wisdom are highlighted such as those employing local woven fabrics, the physical appearance of the building with elements of local art products, to distinctive culinary and providing local tourist experience opportunities to guests staying," he said.
In addition to supporting the existence of tourism schools in the province, the management has requested the Ministry of Tourism to provide education and training on tourism in the region.
"We have also agreed, and it will be arranged in one month we prepare time to teach or train in existing tourism schools," he said.
East Nusa Tenggara Governor Frans Lebu Raya appreciates the management of Sahid Hotels and Resort that is committed to supporting the progress of tourism in the island-based province.
"Sahid certainly already has a big name and will definitely bring many of his customers come to NTT," he said.
He also appreciated in addition to developing a hospitality business in Kupang City, Sahid Group has also been managing hotels in Maumere to serve tourists who come to the island of Flores.
