Minister of Industry Called Bomb Terror Surabaya Can Delay Investment

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto condemned the bomb blast in several locations in Surabaya. Not only in Indonesia, acts of terrorism that occur in other countries such as America and Paris can delay the investment of a country.

"We regret the incident that happened yesterday, Surabaya is an industrial city, business city," said Airlangga in the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Monday (14/05/2018).

However, he suggested that the community keep doing economic activities as usual.

"What the terrorists expect is to delay investments, we are fighting against fixed investments to avoid terrorist desires," Airlangga said.

Airlangga hopes that the unity and solidarity of the nation will not be disturbed by terrorism incident in Surabaya.

"Business and investment must continue to run, however, keep raising awareness," Airlangga said.
