INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Director of Marketing Service Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprises (LLP-KUKM) Emilia Suhaimi said Smesco Indonesia which is home to leading SMEs across Indonesia is ready to fight the onslaught of Chinese products by increasing the competitiveness of local products. According to him, the potential of Indonesian SME products to compete foreign products, especially from China is actually very large.

"We have to fight foreign products, especially Chinese products that are cheap because our products are not less good," said Emilia in Jakarta, not long ago.

One of the things that must be done, he said, is to rearrange and re-map the market network of Indonesian SMEs excellent products.

He also stressed the importance of managing the domestic market in favor of SMEs superior products rather than imported products from China.

Emilia mentioned, it as the manager of Smesco Indonesia to rearrange Smesco Indonesia to give birth to the Provincial Superior Products which are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of Smesco Building Indonesia.

"So the buyers do not need all the way when want to buy a typical product from various provinces in Indonesia, simply come and buy it at Smesco Building Indonesia," he said.

Smesco Indonesia is expected to become one stop shopping area for local and international consumers who want to buy KUKM Indonesia products.

"Our products that are here are no less great with the products from China that we must defend and buy our own products," he said.
