INDUSTRY.co.id - Purwakarta - Candidate vice Governor of West Java Dedi Mulyadi states that fasting can be a momentum in building and realizing social justice.
"Ramadan is a blessing month, we must make a guide to achieve social justice," he said in a press release received in Purwakarta, Thursday (31/05/2018)
This, he added, can be done by inviting people around the house to break their fast together. That way, they can feel the blessings of Ramadan.
He said, based on his religious experience, togetherness with the less fortunate citizens can create the inner and outer purity.
"For example, if you break the fast, you usually want it to be eaten, it's bad, it can be drowsy during Tarawih prayer, so it's better for our food to be for the citizens, it is our effort to sanctify the birth and the mind," he said.
In addition to breaking fast together, Dedi also states that zakat fitrah has the same function. The dimensions of worship have a social spectrum. Therefore, the social importance he believes can be realized if zakat consistently implemented by Muslims.
"Zakat, infak, and alms are part of the Islamic way of alleviating poverty so that social justice can be realized soon," he said.
