INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Independent Commissioner of PT Central Asia Financial (CAF) Theodorus Wiryawan advised the public to be concerned about joining the insurance program before leaving for festivities because there is always the risk of accidents, illness and crime during and after the trip.

"There are risks that must be considered during homecoming or vacationing from accidents, illnesses, and even victims of crime, but the reality is still limited people who care about this risk," said Theodorus in Jakarta, Friday (08/06/2018).

According to him, the company should organize public transportation, for example buses, insure passengers, or companies that organize free homecoming should also insure all participants.

Theodorus suggests that the public can buy instant, affordable, and time-adjustable instant insurance on holiday and claims procedures as well.

Theodorus recognizes the awareness of insured people in Indonesia is still low as when liquid thr, for example, still a few who consciously spend money into insurance products as provision of going home. Most actually spend money to buy clothes, homecoming fees, mobile phones, and more.

According to Police Korlantas data 2017, there are 3,168 accidents with the death toll reach 742 people. In terms of health, the most common diseases suffered post-Lebaran one of them is typhus (thypoid fever). Then when traveling abroad like, travelers should also anticipate endemic diseases in the destination country.

CEO of PT CAF, Yuda Wirawan said, for people who want to travel back and forth abroad, can take advantage of insurance products offered CAF through digital channels, for example, Jagadiri products.

Yuda said, Jagadiri as one of the providers of life insurance services also support the program of safe homecoming insured mudik.

"We have a Jaga Vacation product, Keep Healthy Tropical, and Keep Safe Instant that can be obtained quickly, easily online and without the burden," he said.

According to Yuda, three insurance products Jagadiri is very relevant and suitable for travelers for providing life and health protection to customers during homecoming and Lebaran holidays.
