INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Deputy for Construction and Transportation Facilities and Equipment (KSPP) Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Ahmad Bambang estimates that the net profit of state-owned enterprises in the first half of 2018 could reach Rp 7 trillion.
The SOEs are PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, PT Adhi Karya (Persero), PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Hutama Karya (Persero), and PT PP (Persero) Tbk.
"The data until May showed better financial performance from the first quarter, with net profit achievement of around Rp5, 5 trillion," said Abe, greeting familiar, recently.
With the achievement of net profit up to May 2018 of Rp 5, 5 trillion, he is optimistic that the net profit of six state-owned enterprises can be realized around Rp 7 trillion by the end of June this year.
"The achievement plan is supported by various projects being undertaken by state-owned enterprises, such as toll roads, and so forth," said former Vice President Director of Pertamina (Persero).
In addition, the government is pushing Waskita Karya to release minority shareholdings on several toll road sections. This is due to the number of toll road projects that are being and will be done by the company.
"So that other projects can focus on it. Kan, Waskita is not a toll road operator, "he said.
To complete the construction of the toll road under construction, Waskita requires substantial funding. Currently, the company has a loan ceiling of Rp70 trillion and only absorbed about Rp40 trillion.
"But I do not agree they take a whole credit plafond if the covenant has passed," he said. (Imq)
