Sulisiono said the gas fuel needs of PLTG will be supplied from BP Tanggung in Bintuni Bay.
Other facilities and infrastructure such as ports will be prepared to support gas supply to this PLTG.
"However, at this early stage we will use fuel oil (fuel) first until the infrastructure and gas supply is ready to be imported," he said again.
He expressed more efficient gas fuel than oil, so that other infrastructure is expected to be prepared so that gas can enter the PLTG.
According to him, PLN is continuously trying to increase the stock of electricity by building power plants throughout Papua and West Papua.
"This is part of the program of Nawacita, the program of Terang Indonesia and the program of Papuan Terang, Mr. President Jokowi wants all corners in Papua and West Papua is electricity," he said.
