INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - At the Halal bihalal and the 30th anniversary of the Association of Industrial Establishments, Minister of Industry, Airlangga Hartarto, revealed that currently the development of industrial estate has increased, both in terms of number and area.

"In terms of quantity, there is an increase of 17.5% from 74 industrial estates in 2014 to 87 industrial estates by 2017. While in the broad side increased by 64.6% from 36,000 hectares to 59,700 hectares," said Airlangga Minister at Jakarta, Thursday (6/28/2018).

According to the region, said Minister Airlangga, industrial estates outside Java have increased from 28.01% to 42.42% by 2017.

"Although in terms of number of increase is still happening in Java, but because outside Java the availability of land is still relatively wide, so the increase in percentage of area outside Java is higher than in Java," he said.

Airlangga also expressed gratitude for the presence and contribution of the region's managers in the implementation effort of Indonesia 4.0 in an effort to increase the investment of industrial sector.
