INDUSTRY.co.id - Mataram - West Nusa Tenggara Governor Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) Muhammad Zainul Majdi stressed the two-period support for President Jokowi's leadership has nothing to do with the KPK's investigation on the sale of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara shares.

"It has nothing to do with my decision to support the current government for the next period with external issues, be it related to the KPK, Democrats and other issues," said TGB greeting the Governor of NTB TGH Muhammad Zainul Majdi, in Mataram, Friday (6/7 / 2018)

He said his support for Jokowi is purely a personal decision and responsibility as a nation boy.

"I have observed the situation of national politics for the past four years. In my view, the friction and polarization of people using religious sentiments is increasingly worrying," he said.

Therefore, according to him, in the world of politics religious sentiments should not be done, religious sentiments can be utilized for the benefit of the ummah.

The two-period NTB governor also said he had never communicated with the Democrats in connection with his statement, including with the Muttasyar Nandlatul Wathan (NW) Council.

Therefore, he reiterated if his decision supports Jokowi two periods as a personal statement and not related to a number of other issues. "It's a personal statement and has nothing to do with the others," he told media crews.

Mentioned by his name was dropped from the list of candidates released by alumni 212, TGB stated that it is something natural, which is dangerous according to him is to justify other groups who disagree not as part of the ummah.

"It does not matter too much about the things that go from the principle, it's my decision, I'll say again that my statement is a personal statement," he said.
