Minister Basuki Motivates Students at Youth X Public Figure Event

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono motivated hundreds of students at We The Youth event titled "Youth X Public Figure Vol 5: Connecting Indonesia" at Epicentrum XXI, Jakarta, Saturday (21/7/2018) .
In a talk show hosted by the Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi and young actress Prilly Latuconsina, the PUPR Minister shared his experience and spurred the younger generation to work harder and contribute to advancing Indonesia.
In front of about 360 young people, Minister Basuki said that in doing anything, both carrying out the duties of duties and hobbies, all must be done with all my heart.
"No matter how small we do we must always live with it whole heartedly. So for young people, whatever we do must be maximum and must be caliber," Minister Basuki said in a talk show session.
Minister Basuki gives examples of his hobby in playing music and photography, he said seriously pursue it even took the time to participate in photography classes from basic to advanced. Likewise in developing musical talents and hobbies, Minister Basuki had said to want to bear the science of drum maestro Gilang Ramadan.
In addition, Minister Basuki tells a little about his experience while studying Doctoral ataylu at Colorado State University (CSU) United States. He tried hard to continue his doctoral studies, because the scholarships received only until S2.
"My scholarship was terminated during S3. I am mailed back soon by the local government. But the S3 mentor says do not give up and continue to focus on the study. For that, I had worked to become a newspaper pamphlet to finance life while looking for a new scholarship, "he explained.
In order to succeed in achieving the ideals, Basuki conveyed in addition to striving heartily, we must fast and pray. We must not have jealousy and envy for others.
"I am impressed that we must _fight_ face life. We will feel this life hard if we are soft. All are in competition. You today look friends, but actually compete with each other, "said Minister Basuki.
