INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Imam Nahrawi symbolically handed over a gold medal of Rp 1.5 billion to Taekwondo athletes Defia Rosmaniar.
"Bonuses are given cash and will be transferred directly to the athlete's account. Obviously yes" said the Menpora in Jakarta, Monday (08/20/2018).
Menpora hopes that there will be many gold medals from Indonesian sports fighters at the 2018 Asian Games.
As is known, hijab athletes who have a sweet face, Defia Rosmaniar managed to win the first gold medal for Indonesia in the grand event of the 2018 Asian Games.
Defia Rosmaniar was born in Bogor on May 25, 1995. Still very young but has been able to make the name of the nation proud. Although still very young, Defia has been trusted to be part of the Indonesian Taekwondo Executive Board (PBTI).
Currently, Defia is a student at the Jakarta State University (UNJ), Department of Sports Education. Once his love for the world of sports made Defia choose to continue his education with a major in sports education.
Defia managed to defeat the Iranian athlete, Salahshouri Marja, with a score of 8,690 - 8,470 from getting to know taekwondo since she was in junior high from her cousin.
Defia had succeeded in bringing a Silver medal for Team Female National Championship from the Korean Ambassador. In addition Defia also managed to bring home gold at the 2016 XIX Individual Female Pon Team, 2016 XIX Female Pon Team, 2016 Lombok Mataram Student National Team Senior Female Team and Silver Medal for Lombok Mataram 2016 Student National Senior Female Students.
People who want to succeed in their lives must have a life motto. Like Defia, the motto of life that is the role model is "Dream Big, Work Hard and Stay Humble".
