LRT Stasiun Veledrome-Kelapa Gading
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta's Light Rail Train (LRT) trial period has been conducted three times, while the LRT trial route is Veledrome-Kelapa Gading Station. It turned out that after the trial, there were no obstacles in the operation of the LRT, but until now why hasn't it been operated?
1. The LRT trial operation must be a month
Corporate Secretary of PT Jakpro Hani Sumarno said, the Light Rail Transit (LRT) trial was conducted one month to see and overcome the shortcomings in the train.
Sumarno continued, this RLT trial period had been carried out and the results looked good. "There are no obstacles," he said.
Sumarno said this mode of transportation was not for the 2018 Asian Games moment. But Djoko explained that he would use the Asian Games moment as a means of communication with the public about LRT transportation facilities.
2. LRT holds 278 passengers per set
Jakarta LRT Project Director Iwan Takwin said the transported passengers would be selected selectively, given that passengers were comfortable in the LRT. Jakarta LRT has eight trainset on the mainline in Kelapa Gading.
"With the total number of passengers per set that can be serviced by the train, it reaches 278 passengers per set so that the passengers are comfortable," said Iwan.
3. Routes of 5.8 km
Previously, this LRT light train was operated on 15,16 and 20 August. The RLT route is the Kelapa Gading-Velodrome route for 5.8 km.
4. LRT will transport limited passengers
Iwan said, at this time his side was still waiting for the operating approval from the Ministry of Transportation to be able to start the operation test.
Iwan continued, later the Jakarta RLT would carry limited passengers.
"A series of trial processes must still be passed by the LRT so that it can operate fully," he said.
