INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono released the CPNS Ministry of PUPR which is part of 400 volunteers who will help the people of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) after the earthquake some time ago.
"Especially CPNS who will carry out humanitarian worship in NTB, you will accompany the people affected by the earthquake," Basuki Hadimuljono said at the release ceremony at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, Friday (08/31/2018)
The Minister of PUPR advised that they could maintain the institutional credibility of the Ministry of PUPR, maintain the solidarity of manners, and must be able to cooperate well with other parties there.
According to him, those who are CPNS volunteers must be able to guide communities affected by the earthquake in the disaster area in order to build a better house.
Meanwhile, when met before the event, a CPNS volunteer, Andre Arifin (29) stated that their task was to rebuild infrastructure in the earthquake-affected areas.
"The motivation is to build infrastructure in Lombok, especially housing," said the man from West Sumatra.
Another volunteer, Dolly Immanuel (25), stated that the specifications to be carried out there would be to help build houses from the Ministry of PUPR technology.
The house is known as Risha, or Simple Healthy Instant House, which is easier to build than a house in general, and has the advantage of being more earthquake resistant.
President Joko Widodo said the government would send 400 young CPNS engineers to assist the community to build around 74,000 earthquake resistant houses to replace damaged houses on Lombok Island.
"After the earthquake, it is time for NTB to rise again. The repair of damaged houses will begin on September 1, 2018. The government sent 400 young CPNS engineers to assist the community to build about 74,000 earthquake resistant houses to replace damaged houses on Lombok Island," President Jokowi cried to August 29, 2018 at around 09.00 WIB.
Through a personal Twitter account, President Jokowi explained that the government would send 400 young engineers to accompany the community to rebuild their homes. There are approximately 74,000 earthquake resistant houses that will be built in NTB.
Previously, Director General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of PUPR, Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga, at a discussion on "Reconstruction of the 2018 Lombok Post-Earthquake Basic Facilities" at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Jakarta, Monday (27/8), explained that the task of the Ministry of PUPR was to assist residents so that rebuilt houses could be technically accountable if another earthquake occurs in the future.
In the initial stage, he said, his side had already carried out the training but because it was quite large, it needed time to recruit facilitators to accompany the PUPR team to the people who built their houses.
The Director General of Human Settlements also warned that most houses collapsed because they did not meet good structural rules such as houses that did not have poles or reinforcing iron.
