Support the Logistics Sector, Garuda Opens the Java-Sumatra Strengthening Route

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Garuda Indonesia Airlines inaugurated two new intra Java-Sumatra routes namely Palembang-Lampung-Bandung pp route and Palembang-Padang pp route using a fleet of ATR 72-600 with a capacity of 70 passengers to strengthen the national aviation network.

Pahala further explained that the Java-Sumatra aviation sector is one of the aviation sectors with promising passenger movements.
The opening of two new interconnected routes can further accommodate the needs of the community to access the flight network from points to points with a more convenient travel time.
Pahala explained that Palembang-Lampung-Bandung flights will be connected directly to Palembang-Padang flights.
"We hope that the new flight route can accommodate the traffic of passenger movements in the four cities that are known for the excellence of tourism potential which is also known as the leading education city in Indonesia," he said.
Palembang flight to Lampung will depart at 06.50 WIB and will arrive in Lampung at 07:40 WIB which will then continue the flight to Bandung the next day at 08.10 WIB.
The flight from Bandung to Lampung will be departed on the same day at 09.50 WIB and arrived in Lampung at 11.00 WIB which will then continue the flight to Palembang at 13.10 WIB.
Meanwhile, Palembang-Padang flight was taken for 95 minutes which departed from Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport at 13.10 WIB and arrived at Minangkabau International Airport at 14.35 WIB.
Meanwhile, Padang flights to Palembang will depart at 3:15 p.m. and will arrive in Padang at 17:05 WIB.
The Palembang-Padang pp flights will be served on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Currently Garuda Indonesia through Sumatra's flight hub operates at least 500 flights per week that are directly connected to various Indonesian aviation sectors in the regional sectors of Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, to the intra-Papua
