Garuda Indonesia Wins a Transportation and Logistics Award

INDUSTRY.co.id - Cengkareng - National airline Garuda Indonesia has been named the best transportation & logistics company by the Brand Asia Study which is an independent cross-country research institute in Asia this year in collaboration with the Philip Kotler Center for Asean Marketing at the Asean Marketing Summit 2018 event, recently in Jakarta .

At the marketing summit, Garuda Indonesia won awards in the "Gold Champion in Transportation & Logistics Category" and "Top 10 Strongest Local Brand in Indonesia" categories.

The award was handed over by the Indonesian Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya and received directly by Garuda Indonesia Domestic Trade Director Nina Sulistyowati at Rafles Hotel, Jakarta.

Domestic Commerce Director Nina Sulistyowati said, "The awards we have received today are of course very proud of us, considering this award is one of the international forum's recognition of Garuda Indonesia as an influential transportation in Asian countries."

Nina added, "However, this award is also a challenge for us to continue to provide the best service consistently so as to provide more convenience for our service users".

Meanwhile, the exhibition was held in conjunction with the 2018 Asean Marketing Summit namely "Indonesia Champions - ASEAN 2018", where Garuda Indonesia was awarded as "Indonesia Champions of Asean 2018 in ATL Category".

Previously, Garuda Indonesia was also named the best TripAdvisor airline in the "TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Awards" version hosted by TripAdvisor - the world's leading travel site. In addition, Garuda Indonesia also managed to enter the "Top 10 Travelers' Choice Major Airline - Asia Pacific" ranking.

In line with the ongoing service improvement program implemented by the company, Garuda Indonesia became the only world airline that has won the "The World's Best Cabin Crew" for five consecutive years since 2014 from London-based independent airline rating agency SkyTrax. .
