INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - A total of 50 technology and digital startups are competing to showcase their best work in the ITB CEO 2018 Net Technopreneurship Festival event. In the event, a number of investors were expected to be able to interact with startups.
According to Lead Indonesia Advisor Antler, Stig Traavik, Indonesia is a country full of potential strata. This can be seen from the work of startups who took part in the competition.
"The startups have lots of bright ideas, we believe they can achieve success in the future. One of the things we value is the concept of farming 4.0," Stig told reporters.
Stig said, his party brings experience, mentoring to capital to startups can develop faster. However, this is not enough because technopreneur must have a good ethos starting from determination and hard work.
"This is not only a matter of ideas, but a matter of execution. So that people can trust the idea," he said.
Meanwhile, according to the Dean of SBM ITB School Kuntoro Mangkusuoto, his party strives to provide opportunities for startup from various fields to interact in this event so that they can develop. One of them is by presenting Antler who has an interesting approach.
The selected startups, he said, will get provisions for the development of US $ 4,000 in the first two months. Then in the next stage, the startup will get the provision of mentoring from experienced people with an injection of funds amounting to 10 thousand US dollars.
"The startup will be fostered gradually until the IPO (stock offering) stage," he said.
According to the Director of Student Affairs of SBM ITB, Sonny Rustiadi, his side brought investors. One of them is Antler, a world startup generator company that has produced quality startups. On this occasion other investors were invited, namely Sarana Jabar Ventura, Angel.id, PT NDE, Krigan Capital, Cofrina group, Sharing Vision, and the FINT Investment Forum. This activity is designed as a place for business people to collaborate.
"Of the 50 startups, 15 startups were chosen to pitch in front of the assessment board," he said
