Juanda Airport Wins Airport Service Quality Award

INDUSTRY.co.id - Sidoarjo - Juanda International Airport Surabaya has won the 2017 Airport Service Quality award by Airports Council International (ACI) as the third best in the world in the Airport category with the number of passengers 15 to 25 million per year.
Juanda Heru Prasetyo Airport General Manager, Wednesday (09/19/2018) said the award was given last week at Canadian Helifax.
"The 2017 ASQ Awards assessment is based on a survey of satisfaction with airport services. Around 600 thousand airport service users are participants in this survey every year," he said during the activity of giving thanks to partners and stakeholders in the Juanda International Airport. Surabaya.
He said since 2006 ASQ had measured the satisfaction of airport service users, with more than 340 airports participating in 85 countries.
"I would like to thank all those who have supported so that the Juanda International Airport won this award, especially the Navy in terms of security, especially during emergency emergency situations some time ago so Juanda Airport can still operate normally, safely and conducively," he said .
He explained, in addition to the international award, from the national level Juanda Airport succeeded in winning the Outstanding Excellent Service predicate in the Excellent Service Award at the Ministry of Transportation's Public Service Unit.
"The implementation of the prime service assessment of the public service sector of the transportation sector in the transportation environment was carried out by an independent appraisal team established through the Minister of Transportation Decree No. 616 Year 2018, consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform, Ombudsman, Presidential Staff Office, Academics, Foundation "Indonesian Consumers, transportation observers and journalist representatives," he told the media crew.
According to him, this award is a motivation and strengthens our commitment to continuous improvement in improving service standards for airport service users.
"Among other factors are cleanliness, speed of service while still carrying out the main principles of aviation security and safety," he said.
Submission of expressions of appreciation for the award was carried out by giving gifts and gratitude directly by the management of Juanda Airport and also to all existing stakeholders.
"There is no other expression besides gratitude to all stakeholders for their dedication that together provides the best service to airport service users," he said.
