Compared to the five main countries in ASEAN (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines), Indonesia has an installed data center capacity share of 12.7%. Whereas, the mobile users (43.8%) and the internet users (41.2%) in Indonesia are the largest. With a population of more than 270 million in Indonesia, the Indonesian installed capacity of current data center is only 0.6 watts per capita or an aggregate average of around 167 megawatts, lower than Japan, which with a population of 126 million people has a data center installed capacity of around 15 watts per capita.
