TARA Nindya Award
INDUSTRY.co.id - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been honored for its daycare facility that complies with the Child-Friendly Daycare/ Happy Daycare (TARA) standard, receiving the TARA Nindya rating (20/10) from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Kementerian PPPA). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' daycare facility has achieved the TARA Nindya rating, which is the third-highest level in meeting national standards for child-friendly daycare.
"This award serves as motivation to enhance the quality of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' daycare services, ensuring not only child-friendliness but also fostering an environment that supports children in growing and developing their potential optimally," stated Ani Nigeriawati, the Director of Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after receiving the award.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' daycare, named TARA Caraka Ceria Daycare, has been in operation since 2015, providing services that are not only child-friendly but also supportive of the optimal growth and development of the children of Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees.
TARA Caraka Ceria Daycare serves as a safe space for children and reflects the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' commitment to implementing gender mainstreaming (PUG). The responsive infrastructure facilities support the rights of female employees as well as the health of mothers and children. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is determined to continually improve its daycare standards. With the TARA Nindya rating as a foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aspires to achieve a higher rating, namely TARA Utama, in the standardization of child-friendly daycare.
This award was presented as part of the World Children's Day celebration held at Dunia Fantasi, Ancol. The event was attended by several national officials, including the Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, the Chair of the Election Commission (KPU), the Chair of the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu), and officials from other ministries/agencies, marking recognition of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' contribution to creating an environment that supports the optimal growth and development of children, while promoting the implementation of child-friendly daycare standards at the national level.
