INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Combined Pharmaceutical Company (GP) admitted that it is difficult to transfer the industry to industrial area as mandated by Act No. 3 of 2014 on Industry which requires all industrial activities to be carried out within the region.
"We are interested in entry if there is an industrial area that gives the status of 'clean', but move the industry to the industrial area is very heavy because we ourselves have been bothered with new rules," said GP GP Chairman Tirto Kusnadi in the event "Investment Outlook" Integral industrial area in Jakarta, Tuesday (10/10/2017)
He said the pharmaceutical industry faces a big demand to serve the needs of medicines for BPJS Health participants. Unfortunately, the standard rules in the sector are also undergoing considerable changes limiting industry space.
Whereas President Jokowi has issued Presidential Instruction No. 6 of 2016 on the Acceleration of Pharmaceutical Industry Development and Medical Devices to realize independence and increase the competitiveness of the pharmaceutical industry and medical devices.
"Imagine there are 70 thousand rules in Indonesia. That's why we bother once, the acceleration that is expected by President Jokowi also seems not yet seen because of the many rules," he said.
