On October 15, 2015, the Supreme Court has ruled that Heru Sulaksono (Former Head of PT Nindya Karya branch of North Sumatra and Aceh) and his comrades are guilty in the case of Implementation of Unloading Docks at Free Trade Area financed by State Budget (APBN) Budget 2006 s / d 2011.
The project was jointly undertaken by PT Nindya Karya (Persero) and PT Tuah Sejati by forming a Joint Operation Cooperation called Nindya-Sejati, JO.
On February 21, 2018, PT Nindya Karya (Persero) has received a letter from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the notification of the commencement of the investigation of the Corruption Case in the Implementation of the Construction of Unloading Dock, allegedly committed by PT Nindya Karya (Persero) with PT Tuah Sejati.
As a state-owned company that upholds Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and corporate integrity, Nindya Karya will cooperate with law enforcement in the face of this case.
The issues requested by law enforcement officers in relation to legal matters have also been carried out cooperatively by PT Nindya Karya.
PT Nindya Karya also always communicate and coordinate well to law enforcement officers in order to run business activities in accordance with applicable provisions.
As a regulator and shareholder of PT Nindya Karya, the Ministry of SOEs ensures that the management of SOEs is now always running GCG guidelines and assessments to SOEs to act fair, professional and transparent in running their business.
Assessment is done by the Financial Development and Supervisory Board (BPKP) or an accredited third party.
"This GCG Score is included in the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of BUMN Directors," said Ahmad Bambang in Jakarta (14/04/2018).
Moreover, all SOE projects are now under legal guard from the Supervisory, Government and Central and Regional Development (TP4D) Team of the Attorney General's Office.
Thus, in the execution of project work of either central or Regional Government, SOEs can be helped from things that deviate.
