Head of Transportation Management Agency of Jabodetabek (BPTJ) of the Ministry of Transportation, Bambang Prihantono said the Transport Policy consists of three points, such as Traffic Engineering Management (MRLL), Public Transportation and Traffic Freight Transportation (Gol III, IV and V).
The Traffic Engineering Management Policy shall include an even odd policy extension on the Jakarta Arterial Road (as proposed by Transportation Department DKI Jakarta) from the original at Jl. M.H Thamrin, Jl. General Sudirman, Jl. Gatot Subroto, expanded to Jl.Benyamin Sueb, Jl. Ahmad Yani, Jl. IN. Panjaitan, Jl. S. Parman, Jl. Rasuna Said, Jl. MT Haryono and Jl. Mero Pondok Indah.
"This even odd policy is for private vehicles and applies every Monday-Sunday at 06.00-21.00 WIB," said Bambang.
The expansion also applies to the even odd policy of the Toll Gate from the addition of the Tambun Toll Road only from Bekasi Barat and Bekasi Timur (Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road) and the addition of the Dawuan Toll Gate from the Cibubur Toll Gate only (Jagorawi Toll Road).
"For private vehicle arrangements, the policy of opening the toll gate of priority tolls will be conducted on the toughest gates that experience speeds of less than 40 km / h, V / C ratio of more than 1, long queue reaches 200 meters and the distance between the toll gates adjacent , "said Bambang.
The closing of the priority toll gate, he added, will be applied variation from 06.00-17.00 WIB and 12.00-21.00 WIB every day. The toll gate closure is prioritized for the Kemayoran Atlet Wisma route, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Velodrome Rawamangun and Cibubur.
"Included in this policy is the provision of a special lane on the toll road intended for athlete transport vehicles and Bus public transportation," he added.
More than 100 km of length of toll road in lane 1 will be dedicated to a special lane of athlete and bus transportation mobility. The LKAU toll road segment covers the Inner City Toll Road (21.6 km), Toll Road section (25.8 km), Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road (26.2 km) and Jagorawi Toll Road (26.8 km) will be equipped with markers and signs.

"This policy includes the addition of Transjakarta bus fleet to the venue of 76 units from the existing condition of 294 units, provision of 57 units of bus from Hotel / Mall to Venue, provision of 204 special buses for areas affected by even odd policy extension, and 10 units of bus for non-match purposes (tours), "he said.
For the Policy on Traffic Freight of Goods Traffic, implemented by expanding the scope of traffic restrictions on Group III, IV and V freight transportation on certain toll roads. Currently, there are restrictions on freight traffic on the Cawang-Tomang-Pluit and Tomang-Kembangan toll roads where freight vehicles are prohibited from passing on toll roads outside the hours of 22.00-05.00 WIB.
Especially during the implementation of the Asian Games traffic restrictions on freight traffic will be extended to the Cawang-Tj Priok Toll Road, the Port Toll Road, the Cawang-TMII Toll Road and the Cawang-Cikunir Toll Road.
"The trial and implementation of these three policies will involve all relevant stakeholders, including Police Corrections, Ministry of Public Works, INASGOC, Ditlantas Polda Metro, Transportation Department DKI Jakarta, Toll Road Management and other stakeholders," Bambang said.
