INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Special Staff for Communication of the President, Johan Budi, revealed his withdrawal from the National Campaign Team (TKN) of Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin because he wanted to focus on the withdrawal and the special staff of the President.

"I have to choose where to focus, because it chooses to focus on cutting and at the same time still being a presidential special staff member," Johan Budi told reporters at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta, Tuesday (9/18/2018).

He claimed that he had submitted a letter of resignation from TKN to the Secretary General of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle Hasto Kristiyanto and also the party leader bearing the head of the bull.

He also claimed to have submitted his resignation from the TKN spokesman to the Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and District Secretary Pramono Anung.

"Special staff, their status is under Seskab. They understand what my choice is, they agree, including the President," he said.

When asked that this resignation was also related to intense competition in the electoral district of East Java, Johan Budi denied this.

"I don't think there is anything to do with the East Java 7 electoral district which is said to contain those 'popular' candidates. I don't think it has anything to do with that. But what is more important is that I avoid that conflict of interest," he told the media crew.

Johan Budi also claimed to have had a plan to conduct a campaign so he could qualify as a member of the House of Representatives.

He also revealed that there was actually a desire to resign from the Presidential Special Staff, but did not get permission.

"In fact, when I decided to 'pass on', I have twice delivered the resignation as the President's spokesperson or staff member to the President. It is not permissible for the President, because according to the President there are no rules that are violated as presidential staff and at the same time 'delegate'. Working day, I have permission to the President, "he said.
