The power plant is targeted to produce green energy, new and renewable energy that will be distributed to green industrial parks in order to produce green products. According to the President, the power plant will be Indonesia’s strength in the future.

Indonesia, which is home to mega biodiversity, has also strength in blue economy, the President said, adding that sustainable blue economy is a vital agenda that must be prioritized in all coastal areas that Indonesia has.

The President further said that Indonesia’s economic growth must also be inclusive and must become an important part of the problem solving of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“Economic growth must be an engine for equitable development and economic justice in regions, villages, and cities. Economic growth must upgrade our MSME in order to be able to compete with products from other countries,” he remarked.
