Petrokimia Gresik Develops Liquid Probiotic Products

INDUSTRY.co.id - Gresik - PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) fertilizer producers continue to develop innovations beyond non-fertilizer. One of the mainstay is liquid probiotics which is the result of developing PG research compartment.

Innovation serves to improve endurance and streamline the absorption of nutrients in the digestive process. Especially, cattle.

President Director of PT Petrokimia Gresik Nugroho Christijanto said, based on the results of research that has been done innovation results (Petro Biofeed) able to raise the weight of cattle on average 0.8 to 1.3 kilograms per day.

"Our innovations Petro Biofeed can also be used on ruminant animal feed, such as goats and sheep," he said on Saturday (2/08/2017).

He added that through these innovations PG will continue to develop research outside of fertilizer. However, it does not mean leaving the core business is carried. Namely, producing fertilizer to maintain food security.

"Our responsibility remains a priority to fertilizer production while also focusing on research related to agriculture and livestock," he said.
