Tanjung Lesung Festival Increases Tourist Visits

INDUSTRY.co.id - Pandeglang- Governor of Banten Wahidin Halim appreciated the support of central government in the development of Tanjung Lesung KEK and events held in Banten.

Tanjung Lesung Festival event, he said, is a promotional media of Tanjung Lesung Beach which has been established as the location of the establishment of Special Economic Zone (KEK) and other tourist objects in pandeglang.

"We hope that this festival will encourage the increase of tourist visits, especially to Tanjung Lesung Beach, and generally to other attractions in Pandeglang," said Wahidin.

He also invites the community of Banten to support and enliven this Tanjung Lesung Festival. "I invite people to visit the Festival of Tanjung Lesung Festival, with that so makes the event bigger " said Governor Wahidin.

The central government establishes Tanjung Lesung as a national tourism destination and is included in the tourism attraction development program. Tanjung Lesung development became one of the central government strategic plan, because it has been programmed to be formed into KEK Tourism.

Development of Tanjung Lesung tourism area, conducted cross-sectoral, including the Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Forestry, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Transportation and the government of Banten Province.

KEK land that reaches 1,500 hectares is also a visitor attraction, let alone many facilities that are provided in it so that tourists will feel at home. In KEK Tanjung Lesung, he said, will be built 26 hotels, resorts and condominiums and other facilities including golf courses and educational places.
