Minister of Agriculture: Local Fruit Consumption Needs to be Improved

"Loving the local product is the same as loving red white, loving the Indonesian people, loving this country, loving farmers," he said.

Amran called for people to consume local Indonesian fruit. The delicious tastes and the abundant variety of fruits, eating the local fruits will make the local farmers prosperous.

On that occasion, the Ministry of Agriculture presents various types of local fruits, such as banana, salak, orange, guava, crystal guava, Balinese orange, mango, and durian. The people present can taste the fruits for free.

"Let us move our horticulture, plantations, and fruits because the future is here," he said.

In addition to campaigning in the community, Amran also appealed to the ranks up to the region to always provide local fruit in the office to serve to guests.

He also appealed to the community to always consume and serve local fruits in various occasions, such as visiting sick relatives.

To other ministries, Amran asked for local fruit and food consumption to be improved.

"We appeal to other ministries, all employees, if there are guests, please serve local fruits," he said.
