First Media Develops Reach to Solo and East Java

INDUSTRY.co.id - Surabaya - PT Link Net Tbk, a cable TV provider and internet broadband provider with and First Media continues to boost their business growth to 30 percent by the end of 2018 for the East Java region.
General Manager of the First Media area of Surabaya, Didi Harijanto, Saturday (8/9/2018) said, in order to realize the target, his side cooperates with the best Over the Top (OTT) providers in the world, including HBO Asia present in East Java as its booster.
"In East Java there are now 370 thousand homes passed (networks that pass through houses) in Surabaya, Gresik Sidoarjo and also Malang," he said on the sidelines of The Night King Invassion activities on one of the shopping centers in Surabaya.
He stated, another effort to boost this business target is by presenting "First Squad" to maintain a consistent improvement in service delivery.
"This team represents all functions ranging from 'customer service', technicians, sales, 'strategic' fans as well as management. This is so that these customers can enjoy our services to the fullest," he said.
On the same occasion, First Media's Marketing Communication Department Head, Djoko Adnan, told the media crew that East Java was a strategic market share for First Media, because East Java contributed quite high at the national level.
"Market share in East Java has contributed 20 percent of the national scale. And now, there are 370 thousand more homes passed in Surabaya with 160 thousand customers for internet and cable tv use from First Media," he said.
Nationally, he said, through the increase and expansion of the network to cities in Indonesia, First Media services can now be enjoyed in 2,076,000 homes passed in various cities (Greater Jakarta, Surabaya and Malang, Bandung, Medan, Batam and Bali.
"In the future we will also expand to Solo and also several other cities in an effort to help people enjoy our services," he said.
