Japan Supports Indonesia’s G20 Presidency: PM Fumio Kishida

INDUSTRY.co.id - Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida Monday (09/26) expressed his support for Indonesia’s G20 Presidency and a success of the G20 Summit in Bali in upcoming November this year.
The statement was made by the Prime Minister during the courtesy call of Vice President Ma’ruf Amin at the Akasaka palace in Tokyo, Japan.
According to Spokesperson of Vice President Masduki Baidlowi, the Japanese Government has announced that it will also fully support Indonesia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2023 to continue not only bilateral and regional partnerships, but also collaboration on regional and global challenges.
Echoing the same sentiment, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida also asked the Indonesian Government to support Japan’s G7 Presidency next year.
Furthermore, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin expressed his fervent hope that Indonesia and Japan can enhance the cooperative relations. (BPMI of Vice President’s Secretariat/UN) (AP/MUR)
