INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, December 5th, 2022 – PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (Tanobel Group), a listed company, manufacturer of Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) with the IDX ticker code: CLEO: IJ, will continue the Company's aggressive expansion in 2023, by building 3 new factories and continuing to develop distribution networks throughout Indonesia.
“We see that the bottled water market in Indonesia is still wide open, so we remain optimistic to continue our expansion by building new factories and expanding distribution networks throughout the country,” said CLEO Deputy President Director, Melisa Patricia.
The construction of new factories and the opening of new distribution network branches in various locations throughout Indonesia is one of CLEO's strategies to reduce expensive distribution costs while bringing the Company closer to consumers. This year, CLEO has budgeted a capital expenditure of IDR220 billion to develop distribution networks, especially outside Java, such as in Sumatra and Kalimantan.
As for factories, this year the Company expanded 5 factories and built 3 new factories. Of the five factories expansion projects, the Company has completed factory expansions in Banjarmasin, Citeureup, and Bojonegoro.
Support Cancer Foundation
Meanwhile, as part of Company's concern for public health, CLEO, through a program titled Pure Steps, also supports Indonesian children's cancer fighters through activities at a Halfway House for the Indonesian Children's Yellow Ribbon Foundation, on Friday, November 25, 2022, in Yogyakarta.
To support these cancer fighters, CLEO presents a special bottle packaging bearing the Cancer Care ribbon symbol on the label. Part of the proceeds from the sales of this special bottle will be donated to Cancer Foundations in Indonesia, one of which is the Indonesian Children's Yellow Ribbon Foundation.
Pure Steps is a series of CLEO action programs, where in the previous series CLEO made various activities such as collaborating on eco-friendly shoes made from recycled plastic bottles and the Cleo Smart Run where race pack ticket sales were fully allocated to a tree planting action with Cleo.
"Through this Pure Steps action, we hope to be able to support the operations of the Indonesian Children's Yellow Ribbon Foundation and ease the treatment of children with cancer and become a new hope for their families," said Melisa.
This support for Indonesian children's cancer fighters is a continuation of CLEO's commitment to the health of its consumers. Where since the Company was founded, CLEO has always paid attention to the quality of the pure water it produces and the quality of the packaging used by only using Bisphenol A-free packaging or commonly called BPA free.
BPA is a chemical that can affect health, hormones, the reproductive system, including triggering the risk of cancer in humans.
