From China, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana arrived in Riyadh

INDUSTRY co.id - From the People's Republic of China (PRC), President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo arrived in Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday, October 18 2023.
The Garuda Indonesia plane (GIA-1) carrying the President and his entourage arrived at King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh around at 23.25 local time (WS).
At the bottom of the plane stairs, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana were welcomed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdul Aziz Ahmad along with his wife and the Defense Attache of the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh Brigadier General TNI Putut Witjaksono Hadi.
Meanwhile Saudi Arabia also welcomed the arrival of the President and Mrs. Iriana, namely the Minister of Trade of Saudi Arabia Majeed AlQusaiby, the Governor of Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al-Saud, the Mayor of Riyadh Prince Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Counci l (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, and Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Indonesia Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Amudi.
From the airport, the President and Mrs. Iriana and their entourage then continued their journey to the hotel where they spent the night during their visit to Riyadh. Upon arrival at the hotel, welcoming the Indonesian Consul General (Consul General) in Jeddah Yusron B. Ambary and his wife and the Deputy Head of the Indonesian Representative Office at the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh, Sugiri Suparwan and his wife, were seen welcoming them in the hotel lobby.
In Riyadh, President Jokowi is scheduled to attend the ASEAN-GCC Summit which will be held at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Apart from that, the President is also planned to hold a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister (PM) of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman al-Saud. (BPMI SETPERS/DNS)
