ANTAM's export projection this year consists of 25 kilo tons of nickel in ferronickel, 4.05 million wet metric tons of nickel ore, 1.25 million wet metric tons of bauxite ore and 12 tons of gold.
ANTAM's exports are mainly sent to countries of South Korea, Europe, India, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
PT Antam Tbk's Operational Director Hari Widjajanto said Antam's production and sales performance in the middle of 2018 was mainly due to the optimal operational activities of its core commodities, namely nickel, gold and bauxite.
"ANTAM's ferronickel production and sales in the middle of 2018 are supported by the stable operation of Pomalaa ferronickel platforms and Antam continues to maintain cash cost levels to improve competitiveness and become one of the low-cost global ferronickel producers," Hari said through a press release received on Thursday ( 9/9/2018).
Hari further said, for gold production and sales, ANTAM continued to increase its processing utility in refining precious metals.
"As for the production and sale of nickel ore and bauxite ore, Antam optimizes sales in accordance with the export quota currently obtained," concluded Hari.
