Medco and ESDM Ministry Collaborate to Develop Human Resources Sector

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Medco E & P Indonesia and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) sign a memorandum of understanding on the development of human resources (SDM) energy sector.
The signing was done by the Director of Medco E & P Indonesia, Ronald Gunawan and the Head of Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, I Gusti Nyoman Wiratmaja Puja, witnessed by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ignatius Jonan at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jakarta, Monday (18/09/2017).
Ronald said, as the development of challenges and technology, it is necessary to improve the knowledge and expertise of competent human resources in the field of oil and gas in a planned and sustainable manner.
"The Memorandum of Understanding aims to improve the competence of human resources in energy and mineral resources so as to support all development of oil and gas blocks in Medco E & P," Ronald said.
Later, this cooperation will be implemented in various forms, including education, training, internships, certification, and assessment.
Prior to the signing of this MoU, Medo E & P Indonesia has collaborated with the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Center for Human Resource Development (PPSDM) Migas, Cepu, Central Java.
One such partnership, in 2016, Medco E & P Indonesia through Medco E & P Malaka sent 40 Acehnese high school graduates and Diploma to become operators in Blok A, East Aceh.
