Bank BTN Develops BTN Zone in Higher Education Area

INDUSTRY.co.id - Yogyakarta - PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN), or BTN Bank, is developing a BTN Zone in the college area to make it easier for young people to access banking services and support the Non-Cash National Movement (GNNT).
BTN Zone which contains digital banking facilities and services is one of the efforts made by Bank BTN to continue to be able to transformed in the field of digital banking to strengthen the company's business.
"BTN Zone is one of BTN Bank's business transformations to work with young professionals and families, including students," said Maryono, President Director of Bank BTN, in Yogyakarta, Friday (20/10/2017).
Maryono said, BTN Zone is starting to be developed because only about 24% of customers who come to the bank to make cash deposit. The reason, the majority of other customers use more digital channels to access banking services.
"The pattern of community access to the changed banking services significantly encourages Bank BTN to continue developing digital banking services to meet the needs of its customers," said Maryono.
BTN Zone provides a variety of products and services, including edu payment, current accounts, BTN cash management, government assistance, debit cards and student cards, to mortgages and light loans for employees and university lecturers.
Until August 2017, Bank BTN has disbursed loans and financing of Rp181.24 trillion. That is 20.08% higher than the realization as of August 2016 of Rp150.94 trillion.
As of December 2012-2016, the loan and financing of the Bank BTN averaged (CAGR) rose 19.22%. The increase supported its asset growth of 17.66% over the same period. (Abraham Sihombing)
