Jokowi-SBY Presidential Meeting Creates a Conducive Climate

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The meeting of President Joko Widodo with the 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) at Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, on Friday (27/10) aims to provide some input to President Jokowi derived from SBY thoughts to handle various situations current.
"Mr. SBY as Chairman of the Democratic Party provides information, input We fully support it," said Vice Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives Benny K. Harman in Jakarta, Saturday (28/10/2017)
He said that the meeting did not happen suddenly, but had been planned before. "It was not an impromptu but planned meeting that should be appreciated for creating conducive climate," he said.
Earlier President Joko Widodo met the sixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Friday (27/10).
SBY arrived at the Merdeka Palace at around 14:00 pm immediately greeted Minister of State Secretary Pratikno on the stairs next to the Merdeka Palace.
Head of Democratic Political Division of the Democratic Party Imelda Sari through his press release, explained there are two matters discussed in the meeting Ketok Demokrat Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono with President Jokowi.
The first discusses about Perppu No. 2 of 2017 which has been ratified into Law. SBY expressed his opinion that the dissolution of mass organizations should be done by the court.
Second is about the meeting of the Head of State Intelligence Agency (BIN) with Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. SBY asked President Jokowi to remind his officials not to take action that potentially violates the authority of his position.
"SBY touched on the need for the President to remind the state officials not to exceed the limits of their authority as in the meeting of Governor Lukas Enembe with the Head of BIN some time ago," said Imelda.
