INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The survey results of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) study show that the majority of millennial generations aged 17-29 are optimistic about President Jokowi Widodo's administration.
Researcher of CSIS Yose Rizal in Jakarta, Friday (3/11/2017) said, from a survey of 1,000 respondents consisting of millennial generation (17-29 years) and non-millennial generation (30 years and over) in 34 provinces known as 75 , 3 percent millennial generation is optimistic about the government.
"The millennial generation's optimism level on the ability of the government is still quite high," he said in the presentation of a survey titled "What's Up with the Millennial? Economic, Social and Political Orientation of the Millennial Generation. "
Yose says in line with that optimism, the current millennial generation's happiness rate is also very high at 91.2 percent or higher than the non-millennial generation of 89.3 percent.
According to Yose Rizal, surveys conducted on millennial generations are very interesting because there are differences in perception or views that are significant compared to previous generations.
Other CSIS researchers Arya Fernandes convey the difference of view between millennial and non-millennial generations influenced by technological developments.
Generations aged 17-29 years are generally much more technologically literate than the generation aged 30 years and over. In addition millennial generations are also more access to social media than newspapers.
