INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to open the National Conference of Alim Ulama and the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) on November 23, 2017 in Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB).
"Munas Alim Ulama and Konbes NU will be opened by President Joko Widodo at the Islamic Center of Mataram City," said Chairman of the Committee Robin Emhas at the Office of PBNU, Jakarta, Monday (20/11/2017)
Meanwhile, Vice President Jusuf Kalla is scheduled to close a consensus forum under the conference on November 25, 2017.
Munas and Konbes NU to be followed by about 1,500 people will be held in five boarding schools, namely Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah, Pondok Pesantren Darul Hikmah, and Pondok Pesantren Nurul Islam in Mataram, and Pondok Pesantren Darul Qur'an and Pondok Pesantren Al Halimy in West Lombok.
Munas Alim Ulama will discuss various issues, including public frequency, hajj investment, status and rights of married outcomes, disability ficih, hate speech, and the concept of land or asset distribution.
In addition, it will also be discussed in terms of religious law a number of draft laws currently being discussed by the House of Representatives, among others, the Bill on Anti Terrorism, the Bill on Religious Education Institutions and Pesantren, and the Draft of the Criminal Code (RUU KUHP).
Chairman of PBNU KH Said Aqil Siroj said the results Munas Alim Ulama will be submitted to the community and government for follow-up.
According to Said Aqil, it is not a few results of discussion from the forum muktamar and munas NU which became the reference of government and society in addressing a problem.
"Call it the NU decision that allows family planning, bank interest, and acceptance of Pancasila as the nation's ideology," said Said Aqil.
