RI-Sweden Collaboration Supports Startup Development

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The government continues to encourage the development of startup business. This effort is realized with the visit of delegation of information technology, smart city and creative economy of Indonesia to Sweden on 19-21 November 2017 in the framework of exploring cooperation.
One information technology entrepreneur Agung Bezharie provides experience as well as input about the vision of his company PT Warung Pintar Sekali as one of the startup in Indonesia. According to Agung's experience, the company managed by East Ventures is one of the big venturist in Indonesia that is engaged in providing capital for other startup.
"The young people of Indonesia are very creative and the company always thinks positive and hopes that Indonesian startup can become more even though there are still many challenges to be faced in realizing the digital ecosystem in Indonesia," he said in a press release of the Indonesian Embassy in Stockholm on Wednesday (22/11/2017).
The initial obstacle to developing a startup business is knowledge for programmers, entrepreneurs and digital marketing in addition to challenges from regulatory and logistical side. "We need to coordinate with more parties, Sweden is one of our goals because there are already many e-commerce associations, fintech, venture capital, startup, now how to help each other to build this cooperation," said Agung.
Another creative economy entrepreneur, Stepahie Hardjo from PT Ruang Raya Indonesia expressed his business vision to educate the nation. Since its launch in April 2014, now Master Room has managed 47,000 teachers who teach more than 100 subjects across Indonesia.
