Government Offers 13 Infrastructure Projects Via PINA Worth Rp126.5 Trillion

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The government again offers 13 infrastructure projects through the Government's Non-Government Investment Financing (PINA) scheme worth Rp136.5 trillion.

"The government's facilitation via PINA is worth Rp136.5 trillion this year," said PINA CEO Ekoputro Adijayanto, responding to the media crew after attending Infrastructure Insight Forum 2017 in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/11/2017)

He explained, through PINA, the government encourages that infrastructure financing in the future not only sourced from the state budget, but also from other parties creatively.

"The other side here is private and the approach taken is equity-based and B to B," Eko said.

Eko said, the project requirements into the category of PINA if the projection is able to produce an investment return rate above 13 percent.

"The 13 projects are mostly power plants and toll roads, including the development of an integrated port of Labuhan Bajo tourism, R80 aircraft and others," Eko said.

Eko also said, through this PINA scheme the government will pursue a kind of project insurance if it is in fact not as expected.

"This sort of thing is very prevalent in the world," he said.
