INDUSTRY.co.id - Head of Kominfo Dishubkominfo Pandeglang Nandar Suptandar stated that Panimbang Sub Terminal, built to improve transportation service, has been operated.
"The beginning of the year of construction is complete, and now it has been operated," he said in Pandeglang, as quoted by Antara, Monday (5/12/2016).
The operation of the sub terminal, which was built at a cost of Rp2 billion, he said, makes transportation services to the people in the southern region of Pandeglang more leverage.
In fact, he continued, the sub-terminal development is in addition to the optimization of services, as well as efforts of Pandeglang Pemkab support the establishment of Special Economic Zone (KEK) Pariwasata center at Tanjung Lesung Beach, Panimbang District.
"The establishment of Tourism KEK is indeed implemented by the central government, but as the host we also want to participate, including the construction of the sub-terminal," he said.
Development of Sub Terminal Panimbang, he said, implemented two stages, the first with a budget of Rp400 million and settlement stage Rp1, 6 billion.
He also said the sub-terminal development is indispensable as a stop and ride location for public transport passengers in the south.
Pandeglang regency government, he said, continues to structuring the public transportation route and for that it needs additional facilities and adequate infrastructure.
He said the terminals and sub-terminals that are currently experiencing damage will gradually continue to be addressed so as to provide a sense of security for the transport and community of land transportation users.
"In addition to making improvements, we also have programmed to build several sub terminals, such as Gayam, District Cadasari," he said
