DPR Approves 50 Laws on Prolegnas Entry 2018

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The House of Representatives Plenary Meeting approved 50 Draft Laws to be included in the 2018 National Legislation Program (Prolegnas), consisting of 31 proposals for the House of Representatives (DPR), 16 proposed government proposals, and three proposed DPD proposals.
"Will the DPR Legislation report related to the National Legislation Program priority 2018 and the National Legislation Program 2015-2019 be approved," said House Speaker Fadli Zon in House Plenary Meeting at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday (05/12/2017)
After that all members of the House of Representatives present in the Plenary Session agreed to the Baleg report.
Chairman of the House of Representatives Baleg Supratman Andi Agtas in the Plenary Session said of the 50 bills that enter Prolegnas 2018, 47 of which is the overflow of Prolegans 2017.
According to him, only three new Draft Bill on Drug and Food Control, Wiretapping Bill, and Bill on Medical Education System.
"Of the 50 bills, 31 proposed Draft of the House of Representatives, 16 proposed government, and three proposed DPD bill," he said.
The Gerindra Party politician said that in addition to the 50 bills, there are five bills that are included in the open cumulative, namely the draft of the international treaty, the cumulative open due to the decision of the Constitutional Court, the Bill on the State Budget, the open cumulative bill list on the establishment of provinces and districts / municipalities, Government Regulation in Lieu of Act becomes Act.
He also said that there was a change in the list of Prolegnas 2015-2019, originally amounting to 184 bills into 185 bills.
"Prolegnas priority list of 2018 as many as 50 bills and list of Prolegnas 2015-2019 as many as 185 bills become an integral part," he said.
Supratman said that the legislative burden in 2018 is not easy because it is a political year but he is optimistic that legislative performance in the next year will be better.
It was according to him because the discussion Prolegnaa done with the spirit of togetherness in accordance with the same vision of the revitalization of political, legal and economic fields.
